**JOB PURPOSE**
The Performance Marketing Manager manages campaigns within the company-wide digital advertising accounts to ensure excellence of the campaign architecture creation, set-up, monitoring and budget control.
The Performance Marketing Manager ensures outstanding end-to-end omni-channel go-to-market approaches by creating, executing and managing paid acquisition campaigns to help our markets unlock the value of digital marketing campaigns.
The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing all performance-based marketing campaigns across various channels to drive conversions, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
The role is within the Marketing Operations Studio, under the Digital Marketing and Demand Generation team. While the wider team is situated in our integral Headquarters in Basel, the position will be based within the team in Madrid, Spain.
The position supports the orchestration of global & local campaigns, portfolio prioritization and campaign brand compatibility.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Manages and drives all aspects performance marketing and directly supports the Project manager in the Marketing Operation Studio Madrid.
- Monitors and analyzes campaign performance based on data-driven insights and strategy using quantitative analysis to determine metrics including ROI, CPA, CPL, conversion rates, and other KPIs to ensure that campaigns meet or exceed business goals and objectives.
- Develops and executes A/B and multivariate testing strategies to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement with a hands-on growth hacking mentality.
- Identify marketing performance issues and pinpoint the root cause with the help of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and deliver quantifiable improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective landing pages, ad creatives, and messaging to improve campaign performance.
- Develop easy-to-use reporting or visualization dashboards (demand funnel, marketing planning and budgeting, marketing ROI, operational efficiency, campaign impact, awareness, events, and strategic KPIs).
- Identify and evaluate new performance marketing opportunities and emerging trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to improve the overall effectiveness of the performance marketing programs.
- Act as a consultant to internal customers by developing and sustaining solid relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Implement Straumann Group's digital strategy and adjust plans accordingly by conveying a consistent brand image.
- Continuously assess and improve processes along the customer journey and procedures for the entire customer experience.
- Support management to manage respective cost budgets, conduct proper resource planning within a project or work package.
- Support management of vendor and agency relationships where required.
**Requirements needed**
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in marketing or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- 3+ years professional experience in B2B performance marketing, preferably in the medical device industry or agency environment.
- Additional postgraduate and professional qualifications desirable.
- Non-hierarchical team-oriented attitude.
- Strong track record within a marketing / or sales organization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and proficiency in Google Analytics and other marketing analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time.
- Proactive and accountable with distinct interpersonal skills to cultivate a network of effective working relationships in an international matrix environment.
- Energetic, commercial, and performance-driven team player with entrepreneurial spirit and strong marketing and commercial execution abilities.
- Able to translate data-driven insights and complex digital topics in a tangible way.
