**Your Role**
We are looking for an **H&S; Manager** to join our team, reporting directly to the **Affinity Health & Safety Director** and being part of the **Leadership Team** at our **Els Monjos plant**. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that safe working practices are effectively implemented across all business functions, fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in health and safety performance.
**What You Will Do**
- **Promote H&S; initiatives**, increasing awareness and strengthening the safety culture.
- **Establish and maintain a clear communication structure** for safety consultation and engagement among key stakeholders.
- **Define and monitor site-specific KPIs**, ensuring continuous review and improvement.
- **Actively contribute to the Integrated Management System**, ensuring its development and integration while managing compliance with ISO or equivalent standards.
- **Organize and deliver appropriate safety training** for all staff, identifying training and certification needs to meet legal, business, insurance, and ethical requirements.
- **Develop and oversee processes for managing visitors and contractors**, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- **Ensure all incidents are properly recorded, communicated, and investigated**, meeting reporting obligations.
- **Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes**, assessing their impact on the business and advising senior management accordingly.
- **Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD)** to ensure up-to-date knowledge of best practices.
- **Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management process**, ensuring the implementation of necessary control measures.
- **Develop and execute an internal auditing schedule** to assess and enhance H&S; compliance.
- **Participate in the Safety Committee** and follow up on related actions.
- **Ensure workplace inspections are conducted** and properly documented.
- **Define and oversee the CAPEX and H&S; budget**, aligning with the company’s strategy and country-specific requirements.
- **Monitor H&S; performance and effectively communicate findings** to the wider team.
- **Manage health surveillance and employee well-being initiatives**, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
**What We Are Looking For**
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification in Health & Safety.
- Chartered Membership of IOSH (or currently working towards it).
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to set priorities and develop strategic plans.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization.
- Significant operational experience in H&S;, preferably within industrial and FMCG environments.
- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
