Product Owner Interoperability
Join Roche as a Product Owner Interoperability in the Agile Release Train "Interoperability ART" in the Standardization & Components chapter. Your focus will be on delivering re‑usable software platform components to connect IVD devices and software.

Position Overview
As a member of a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART), the Product Owner is responsible for:
- Elicitation of features with stakeholders and backlog prioritization aligned with the International Product Managers.
- Helping the team to understand the business needs and the customer perspective and facilitating the team in breaking down the features into stories, also maintaining and prioritizing the team’s backlog.
- Validating the stories to meet the objectives and acceptance criteria of the features and taking ownership of defects and prioritizing within the PI.
- Supporting the development team on product‑related topics, building relationships with affiliates and stakeholders, and ensuring close collaboration with external Point of Care teams (instrument, solution, application) to elicit requirements and manage timelines, and with other ART teams to elicit requirements.
10% - 20% of the working time is dedicated to:
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the Product and Portfolio Management Discipline. You are expected to spread and increase knowledge, skills, and capabilities with the rest of the members, and to lead initiatives/activities related to the Capability purpose on your own.
- Permanently optimizing processes to increase quality and efficiency standards.
Who You Are
- You hold a university degree in informatics, electronics, bioinformatics or a comparable field with 2‑4 years of experience in agile software development.
- You have strong interpersonal communication, influence, inspiring skills, and the capacity to handle multiple projects with problem‑resolution orientation.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and also in Spanish.
- Experience in a similar position and familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework SAFe is a plus; experience with communication protocols is also a plus (POCT1‑A, HL7, ASTM).
