As a Firmware and Hardware Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with embedded systems, electronics prototypes and real engineering workflows. You will collaborate in firmware development under supervision, create small code snippets for hardware validation and assist with laboratory testing of prototypes.
Supporting the firmware team, contributing to supervised firmware development tasks and small coding assignments of limited complexity.
Assisting the hardware team by creating code snippets for functional tests, prototype bring-up and hardware validation activities.
Collaborating in laboratory setups, participating in sensor and peripheral testing, measurement sessions and basic debugging activities.
Preparing simple documentation, including basic procedures, notes and test results.
You will be part of our Electrical Engineering and Electronics team, which is part of our Electric Propulsion department. This team is in charge of designing, testing, manufacturing and has the mission of continuous improvement of the electronic devices that enable thruster operation.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/FP in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
Basic knowledge of C/C++ programming.
Experience with Arduino or similar platforms.
Basic electronics and sensor knowledge.
