The Manager Tax should be a talented professional, who will act as a good partner with a variety of business stakeholder in Corporate Income Tax and other related tax matters, achieving a balance between managing tax costs, driving efficiencies, and ensuring optimizations in a responsible way.
Major Accountabilities
- Support the implementation & maintenance of the Group’s international corporate tax strategy.
- Support on the definition and maintenance of the Group's tax governance model, including tax policy, processes, and controls.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, treasury, business segments & key functions, as well as external parties such as statutory auditors, governmental revenue authorities & industry peers.
- Develop, recommend & implement international tax planning strategies for the Group to manage existing positions & capture new opportunities.
- Develop detailed, end-to-end step plans (covering tax structuring & related tax consequences) for transactions, projects & new business initiatives.
- Communicate issues, research solutions & tax positions in a clear, concise manner that is audience-driven, both within the tax department and among business part-ners.
- Proactively collaborate with the Tax Operations Function with respect to all interna-tional tax planning matters, serving as an advisor & reviewer.
- Draft complex tax memoranda, including documentation of tax positions.
- Review & monitor changes in international tax laws, evaluate the relevant impacts, recommend & implement responsive action to manage existing positions & capture new opportunities, and effectively communicate to the tax organization and leader-ship team.
- Support the development and on-going review of tax models and identify areas for planning & tax efficiency.
- Work with treasury to monitor and evaluate strategies for tax-efficient global cash deployment.
- Provide tax support on M&A; deals and divestments, international projects including restructuring, and entity simplification.
- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and drive efficiencies.
- Manage and coordinate the relationship with tax advisors on a variety of topics and other global tax initiatives.
- Support on the implementation of global OECD/EU tax reforms (i.e. mandatory dis-closure rules and disclosures (incl. DAC6), Pillar 2, etc.)

Minimum Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Economics or Law or Dual Bachelor Degree in Law and Business Administration/Economics
Master Degree in Taxation, with focus on International Tax.
Fluency in written and oral English is a must. Fluency in German is a plus.
- Minimum 8-10 years of work experience is required, preferably in a combination of Big 4 and industry experience incl. 2-3 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience in international and corporate tax is a must.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A;, divestments and restructuring projects.
- Experience in managing projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Hands-on shaper, proactive and positive attitude, with ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to develop in the role as the business grows.
