We are focused on building the next-generation game backend services platform and are looking for a dedicated, talented, and passionate software developer to play an important role in this endeavor.
We seek a motivated online services software developer to collaborate with our clients and infrastructure team to improve and develop new services for our online gaming platform product.
You will be part of a cross-functional agile development team creating innovative enterprise-level technology solutions. You will work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies managing over 10 billion requests daily from more than 20 million active players across over 100 games.
Your responsibilities will include development, deployment, support, and maintenance of services supporting Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure, including multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, social networks, and more.
What you will do :
* Design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, highly available services with a focus on quality, security, and cost efficiency.
* Participate in all stages of product development and delivery.
* Research and prototype various technologies useful for the project.
* Stay updated with industry trends.
* Write high-quality, well-documented object-oriented code in Python.
* Have knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
* Be familiar with RESTful APIs, software design patterns, web application, and web services architecture.
* Understand abstract requirements, define implementation steps, and deliver results aligned with client needs.
* Be adaptable to challenges, learn new technologies, and prototype new ideas.
* Possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
* Be proactive and independent.
* Maintain meticulousness and focus on code quality.
Nice to have :
* Experience with AWS services.
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Knowledge of Java.
* Knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
