The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team within the Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function. It is responsible for designing, developing, and rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions, and divisions globally, helping our brands accelerate organic growth.
We are seeking a results-driven and technically adept Quality Assurance (Engineering) Tech Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for defining and executing QA strategy, managing teams of associates and agency contractors, and ensuring the quality of software products across multiple digital platforms. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and delivery teams to enforce quality gates, improve automation coverage, and drive continuous improvement within scaled agile practices.
The ideal candidate will lead quality engineering initiatives, provide guidance and mentorship to QA engineers, and raise the quality standards of our core GDP products and services across multiple brands and business units. Collaboration with leads, software engineers, architects, and product owners is essential to develop scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and business growth.
You will partner with product owners, Tech Product Leads, Data Analysts, and Integration/Platform Leads to facilitate cross-brand, cross-division, and cross-product delivery and rollout of digital products for our global Mars Petcare brands. Specifically, you will be accountable for driving quality engineering efforts for products such as SSO (Single Sign-On) including Consent Management, Identity, and SSO experience;
CDP (Customer Data Platform);
CRM (Customer Relationship Management);
DAM (Digital Asset Management);
and Customer Care.
Must Have:
Strong technical expertise in QA/engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency with QA tools and frameworks (e.G., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Postman, JMeter).
Proficiency in Java;
experience with additional programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.Js.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably on Azure Cloud.
Strong understanding of database technologies (relational, NoSQL, data warehouses).
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and leveraging data for business growth.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.G., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (e.G., Git).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and ambiguity.
