Experteer Overview In this System Engineer role, you drive FinOps and platform automation within a multi-disciplinary DevOps team in Barcelona. You’ll help shape the Internal Developer Platform and AI-enabled optimizations to balance performance and cost. You’ll work on deploying and securing infrastructure, advancing GitOps workflows, and collaborating across teams to scale the platform. This opportunity combines cost-aware engineering with AI-enabled innovation in a fast-growing travel tech company.
Compensaciones / Incentivos • Lead FinOps Initiatives: drive cost management and financial accountability across the company • Build the Internal Developer Platform (Backstage) to improve developer experience • Engineer Infrastructure: provision deployment platforms, monitoring, and security tools • Automate everything: develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable automation • Innovate with AI: deploy AI agents for task execution • R&D;: research emerging tech to evolve the platform
Responsabilidades • 5+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience • Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and cost-benefit of technical decisions (FinOps) • Cloud Native expertise with Kubernetes and cloud services (ideally GCP) • Proficiency in Python or Go • Strong tooling knowledge (Git, Docker, Helm, CI systems) • Deployment experience with GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux) • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform • Bonus: knowledge of FinOps methodologies
