The Head of IT Governance is a key role within the IT department, responsible for aligning all IT areas with the organization's strategic objectives. This role combines strategic and operational responsibilities, leading governance, project and service management, and collaborating closely with the CTO on high-impact initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
1. Design, implement, and manage the IT governance framework to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
2. Supervise and prioritize portfolio management to generate business value.
3. Collaborate with the CTO on strategic planning and organizational maturity.
4. Facilitate effective collaboration between IT and business units.
5. Define and monitor policies, procedures, and metrics for IT services and projects.
6. Manage a team of IT Project Managers and Change Management professionals.
7. Act as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to ensure quality and cost standards.
8. Oversee service quality as a Service Owner and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Manage risks related to services and projects.
10. Serve as Project Manager for key initiatives, ensuring successful delivery.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, with at least 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in leadership roles. Experience in IT governance, BRM, and project management is essential, along with strong knowledge of IT frameworks, digital transformation, and change management.
