HUB Finance Manager
* Your role and responsibilities
Serving as a strategic business partner for the Local Division Manager of Process Automation Energy Industries in Spain, you will be a key member of the management team.
You will help set and execute the business strategy aligned with divisional, regional, and functional strategies.
Reporting to the Central South Europe Hub Finance Manager, you will act as the financial business partner to the Division Manager in Spain. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to improve business processes, foster growth, and support strategic decision-making through project controlling and risk management.
You will provide essential support by ensuring accurate transaction tracking and processing, translating business strategies into actionable plans with measurable targets, evaluating financial impacts, identifying risks, and recommending solutions.
Main responsibilities include:
* Overseeing business planning and forecasting for Energy Industries in Spain, serving as the finance interface with regional and local stakeholders.
* Optimizing productivity and capital efficiency, monitoring cash flow, and improving net working capital.
* Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Performing high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and performance improvement suggestions.
* Managing monthly closing processes with a focus on data quality.
* Establishing processes and tools for transparent and reliable financial data.
* Communicating effectively with Controllers, Accounting Centers, and other teams to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
* Participating in project review meetings to ensure proper financial reporting and risk management.
* Supporting strategic planning with financial insights and tools.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
* Several years of experience as a business controller, preferably in a technology solutions business.
* Thorough knowledge of business processes, planning, and control.
* Business acumen, decisiveness, and ability to manage through agreements.
* Critical, proactive attitude with strong communication and advisory skills.
* Proficiency in SAP or other ERPs and Microsoft tools.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
