We are seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Corporate Finance team. This role will lead efforts to engage with each business division and other stakeholders to deliver the following key responsibilities:
Data analysis and reporting
* Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data from various sources
* Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, budgets, and forecasts to management and stakeholders
* Standardize data analysis approaches across the Group for performance comparison between locations, geographies, and divisions
* Develop reporting tools, including KPIs, to support business objectives
* Optimize the use of business systems to automate tools and analyses, enabling real-time operational and financial information sharing
* Develop and maintain financial models for planning, budgeting, and forecasting
* Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential impacts and mitigations
Investment analysis and recommendation
* Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on financial analysis
* Monitor investment performance and evaluate management actions
* For M&A activities, analyze and recommend strategies to enhance post-acquisition performance
Financial planning, budgeting, and performance
* Assist in developing and implementing financial plans and budgets
* Track actual performance against budgets and prior years, identifying variances and trends
* Assess the business's response to emerging trends to optimize financial results
Business acumen, engagement, and problem-solving
* Understand industry trends and apply this knowledge to your tasks
* Benchmark against competitors to identify performance improvement opportunities
* Communicate financial insights clearly across the organization
* Lead FP&A efforts across the Group, fostering stakeholder participation
Skills and competencies
* Strong analytical and numerical skills to analyze data and identify trends
* Problem-solving ability for complex financial issues
* Proficiency in financial software, data analysis tools, and business systems
