Sales Engineer (Portable Air Compressor) We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced equipment sales individual who enjoys networking and prospecting, maintaining, and growing sales within the construction, mining, utility, oil & gas and other industrial markets.
The Product Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving our solid growth ambitions in penetrating full market potential in the territories of Philippines. Key responsibilities include customer consultation, supporting key dealer accounts, developing business directly in specific applications, and obtaining and managing key accounts.
Location: Laguna
Expected travel rate of up to 70% within Philippines
International travel may be required, including factory visits and attending regional meetings and trainings
To succeed, you will need to:
Execute the sales development plan by promoting and selling Atlas Copco portable air compressors and construction handheld tools solutions portfolio in the target market segments in Philippines
Provide ground product & customer technical and application support
Track market developments, collaborate with sales, marketing and service teams, and provide inputs for creating strategies
Handle and close large business opportunities and key accounts
Support important dealer accounts
Identify and prospect for high potential end-users in the territory
We Seek Your Expertise In
Proposing, presenting, negotiating and closing deals at local, mid-management, and executive levels with dealers and end customers
Engaging on new potential customers, identifying and understanding customer needs
Teaching and offering valuable insights to support customers’ requirements
Tailoring customized sales to customers’ needs and concerns
Taking control of the customer’s sales experience
Providing technical information and training on APE Portable Air & Tools products and applications
Assisting the dealers during joint visits to the end-customers
Handling large opportunities with key customers to provide technical support and build out solutions
Experience Requirements
2 years’ experience promoting and selling construction or industrial equipment – knowledge and experience in portable air compressors an advantage
2 years’ exposure working with customers in construction, mining, utility, oil & gas and other industrial segments with similar applications
Technical capability to learn and utilize IT tools such as Microsoft Teams, SAP C4C customer relationship management (CRM) system, and Power BI

Excellent sales acumen with ability to manage dealer network

Strong verbal/written English communication and presentation skills
Technical know-how
Excellent analytical skills
Degree in Engineering / Marketing – Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
