Job Description Summary
GE HealthCare is looking for a Hospital Technology Planner with a strong engineering mindset to help design and implement advanced medical environments. In this role, you'll work under the guidance of the Healthcare Technology Planning Manager and collaborate with Local Customer Teams (LCTs) to engage with clinical stakeholders, applying your technical expertise to bridge clinical needs with engineering solutions. You'll be responsible for developing detailed medical equipment plans for high-tech hospital departments, advising clients on current and emerging technologies, and supporting the Project Sales team in delivering integrated, technically sound equipping strategies. You'll also work closely with the Design team to create departmental layouts, equipment loading schemes, and MEP specifications, ensuring all technical requirements are met for seamless project execution. Responsibilities
* Contribute to the LCT's success with GE Healthcare solutions, establishing GEHC as the "Preferred Partner" early in projects.
* Analyze customer needs at early design stages, develop medical equipment plans (equipment selections, BoQ, specs) using GEHC planning tools, including GE and non-GE equipment for comprehensive solutions.
* Collaborate with the Design team to validate architectural designs via drawing assessments and coordinate elevation of key rooms/departments to 3D models for better client understanding.
* Provide Room by Room MEP requirements, datasheets, specifications, and healthcare planning advisory services as needed.
* Assist in designing medical equipment advisory plans for departments with multiple GE Healthcare equipment, such as Diagnostic Imaging, ICU, NICU, Emergency, Operating Theaters, etc.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical and technology planning issues, ensuring compliance with the HTP Playbook, and report activity/utilization.
* Provide feedback to improve planning tools and processes, assess medical equipment plans, and define non-GEHC equipment within turnkey solutions.
* Support healthcare facility layout and workflow optimization for technology-rich areas.
Qualifications And Experience
* Experience with hospitals, planning, operations, technology, or IT.
* Biomedical or engineering degree or equivalent.
* Proficiency with Windows-based planning software, Healthcare IT, PACS/RIS/DICOM, and connectivity.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with clients up to C-suite level.
* Presentation, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills.
* Intermediate AutoCAD and Microsoft Project skills.
* Proficiency in Attainia Hospital Planning Software; basic knowledge of REVIT 3D BIM software.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.

* Experience with end-users, clinicians, biomedical engineering, hospital planners, consultants, architects, and suppliers.
