Robert Walters is hiring a
Brand Manager OTC
for the client
ORKLA
, one of the oldest groups of companies in Norway. It is a leading supplier of consumer products for personal care which provides various sectors. Orkla is Innovation and quality for the care and health of the whole family.

Responsabilities:

* Executes brand management and sales promotion activities locally.
* Based on depth consumer insight, he/she ensures profitable growth and strengthened brand positioning of his/her brand/product portfolio through innovations and marketing mix.
* Responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and control of the strategic marketing plans for the assigned brands, to optimize sales / market share, attract new customers to the brand, and retain existing ones.
* This role involves a blend of analytical and creative skills to effectively manage brand positioning, market research, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities. The Brand Manager works closely with Sales and Trade department, to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the company's overall objectives and market needs.

Main tasks and projects:

* Brand strategy Development: design, development, and implementation of the annual marketing plans for brands in the pharmacy and mass consumer channels-analysis and strategy of the brands, media strategy, control of the profit and loss account, and A&P.
* Marketing Campaigns: design, development, execution and analysis of campaigns for the activation of the brand both at the point of sale and media.
* Analysis of the competition to understand their strengths and weaknesses to establish appropriate strategies.
* Market Research: conducting market research when needed to gather insights on consumer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. This involves continuously analysing market data to inform marketing strategies and product development.
* Sales support: providing support to the sales team with marketing materials, product information, and promotional activities to help achieve sales targets. Training of the sales network and customers about the brands and sales strategies.
* Sales forecasting: Development, monitoring, and updating of sales forecasts.
* Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing marketing performance using key metrics to evaluate the success of marketing activities and making data-driven decisions for future strategies.
* Responsible for product pricing considering special market needs for new launches and existing product lines.
* Work with Global to successfully develop and implement all strategies and actions.
* Budget Management: Overseeing the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve marketing objectives.
