We’re looking for a QA Tester to join our Accounting Business Unit and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
You’ll play a key role in testing Sage’s Accounting products for small businesses, ensuring software reliability, functionality, and a seamless user experience. This role covers the full test cycle, from planning through to User Acceptance Testing, with opportunities to contribute to automation and mentor less experienced testers.
Your First 90 Days
30 days – Get familiar with Sage’s Accounting mobile apps, testing processes, and tools. Shadow team members and start contributing to manual test execution.
60 days – Take ownership of writing and executing test cases. Collaborate closely with developers and designers and begin contributing to test automation where applicable.
90 days – Lead the test strategy for mobile releases, oversee app store submissions, and mentor junior QA team members.

Snapshot of Your Day-to-Day
You’ll spend your day designing and running test cases for iOS and Android applications, collaborating closely with developers and designers to resolve issues and improve quality. You’ll participate in daily stand-ups, provide updates on defects and progress, and contribute to automation where relevant. You’ll also play an active role in preparing app store releases and mentoring junior testers to strengthen the overall QA practice.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of the full QA cycle, from designing and planning test cases through to execution, reporting, and continuous improvement
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing environments and workflows
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a positive team spirit
Fluency in English
Nice to Have
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Figma, or TestRail
Knowledge of mobile emulators/simulators and screen-sharing tools for Mac/PC
Understanding of accounting concepts and terminology
Experience with QA automation frameworks
Familiarity with Apple environments
