Senior PV Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Senior PV Engineer to join our team at imathia-construccion-sl.

Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Leadership: Lead the engineering team in providing technical analysis and support to various business units, including design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance.
* Solar Power System Audits: Conduct site audits to collect information on structural, electrical, and related site aspects to review solar power system designs and performance.
* Design Development: Develop and review design specifications, recommending engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
* Installation Support: Provide technical direction and support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
* Procedure Development: Create standard operation and maintenance procedures, as well as checklists for reviewing completed solar installation projects.
* Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for major failures or defects during commissioning or operation phases.
* Performance Optimization: Conduct computer simulations to optimize solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance and energy production.
* Technical Support: Provide technical support to the company's technical committee to resolve technical issues related to PV technology.
* M&A Activities: Support technical due diligence for PV projects involved in merger and acquisition activities.
* Team Mentoring: Mentor and train junior solar engineers, guiding cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
* Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Design.
* Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the PV energy industry, including experience in PV plant design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
* Languages: Advanced English language proficiency (B2-C1), Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.
