A Quantum Computing & AI software company based in San Sebastian are seeking to bolster their team with a talented Technical Engineering Director.

Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of client projects, from technical scoping and planning to execution and successful deployment.
* Translate client needs into innovation by identifying opportunities for new intellectual property and scaling solutions into company products.
* Build and maintain a high-performance team through recruitment, mentorship, career development, and fostering a collaborative culture.
* Strategically allocate resources across projects to optimize team effectiveness while balancing workloads and priorities.
* Serve as a technical authority in areas such as machine learning, LLMs, or quantum computing, providing guidance and trusted advice to teams and clients.
* Coordinate with other directors to identify cross-project synergies and align initiatives with broader departmental and company goals.
* Represent the department externally, managing client relationships and ensuring technical and strategic alignment with company objectives.
Requirements:
* Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
* Minimum of 5 years' industry experience delivering applied machine learning solutions, with expertise in NLP, Large Language Models, or deep learning.
* At least 4 years of project management experience, including hands-on responsibility for end-to-end client engagements.
* Proven experience managing teams, ideally including managers and multiple concurrent project pipelines.
* Proficiency in Python and applied machine learning frameworks.
* Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across distributed, technical, and non-technical teams. xohynlm
