Could you be the full-time Continuous Improvement Engineer Leader for our site in Bilbao we’re looking for?
Your future role :
Take on a new challenge and apply your Continuous Improvement knowledge in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive teammates.
You'll provide support and lead in collaboration with the functions on Site the implementation of company standard and lean processes described on the Alstom Performance System (APSYS) roadmaps to contribute to deliver Site operational performance
You’ll specifically coordinate and challenge improvement actions on Site to reach Alstom Performance System APSYS targets with each function on Site.
We’ll look to you for:
1. Work with Site Managing Director on strategic transformation using site Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery objectives and Alstom Performance System APSYS roadmap.
2. Train people on Alstom Performance System APSYS program, methodologies and tools in the Site.
3. Support each department in Alstom Performance System APSYS deployment by providing on field expertise on lean & continuous improvement tools.
4. Consolidate and report deployment status to Managing Director and Alstom Performance System APSYS Central team
5. Facilitate, coordinate and lead when needed continuous improvement activities in shopfloor (Kaizen, non-added value observations, VSM’s, 5s, etc...)
6. Support the deployment of digital tools in the site to support manufacturing excellence
7. Coordination and follow up of the Continuous improvement actions defined on Site Continuous improvement plan.
8. Coordination and management of all Site Key performance indicators

9. Technical or Advanced Industrial Engineering studies (industrial Organization).
10. Good knowledge of Lean principles and tools (5S, Standard, Gemba, VSM, problem solving, performance and kaizen mindset)
11. Relevant experience in Continuous improvement positions.
12. Good management, leadership and operational skills.
13. Communication and collaboration skills and Team working.
14. High level of English and Spanish.
