We are an international construction company specialised in industrial developments, delivering high-impact projects across key sectors such as data centres, logistics, pharmaceutical facilities and advanced manufacturing.With a presence in Spain, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, North America and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for leading companies driving general transformation.About the RoleAs part of our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our teams in Spain by hiring a Lifting Appointed Person (AP) to support our construction projects, including Data Centres, Logistics Hubs, Advanced Manufacturing Facilities, Cold Storage Warehouses and Battery Plants.Key Responsibilities:Lift PlanningReview contractor lifting plans, including critical lifts, and provide support where required to achieve approvalSelect appropriate lifting equipment (cranes, slings, accessories)Calculate loads, radii, weights and crane configurationsRisk AssessmentReview and, where required, assist in the development of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Identify potential hazards (power lines, structures, weather conditions, etc.)Operations CoordinationSupervise lifting operations on site (crane operators, slingers, banksmen)Coordinate with construction, logistics and HSE teamsVerify safe conditions prior to lifting operationsDocumentation ControlReview and approve lifting plansVerify equipment and personnel certificationsEnsure compliance with local regulations and client standardsSite Supervision (Key Responsibility)Exercise authority to stop works in case of unsafe conditionsEnsure procedures are properly implemented and followed on siteRegulatory ComplianceApply relevant regulations (LOLER, PUWER or local equivalents)Ensure alignment with international and client-specific standardsRequirements:Mandatory:CPCS A61 – Appointed Person (UK) or internationally recognised equivalentTraining in:Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER)Safe Systems of Work / RAMSDesirable:NPORS Appointed Person certificationTraining in rigging and slingingConstruction Health & Safety training (e.G.
