Segment ManagerWe are seeking a Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for the Motion High Power portfolio within the emerging shore power systems market. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and fostering growth to meet sales, market share, and profitability goals. You will work closely with ABB’s Local Sales Units to map the global market, identify and prioritize key accounts, and coordinate commercial actions across regions.Travel up to 30% is required for this role.The work model for this role is:
hybrid.Preferred locations:
Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Growth:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue, increase market share in shore power, and achieve growth targets. Analyze market trends, identify key players, and create actionable sales plans.Customer & Market Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understand their needs, and offer tailored products and solutions.Project & Performance Management:
Identify major projects and target accounts, monitor sales pipelines and performance metrics, and participate in negotiations of legal and commercial agreements.Team Development & Communication:
Develop a high-performing team, clearly communicate ABB’s value proposition, and enhance visibility through market communication and trade fairs.Qualifications:
Proven experience with System Integration, OEM, and/or EPC markets in Marine, Infrastructure, or Industrial segments.Track record of driving sales and market expansion in a business development or sales role.University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience working in a multinational matrix organization with excellent networking and communication skills.Strong business acumen, influencing skills, and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).About Us:
