We seek a technical manager for the Spanish Trainer Integrated Training System domain.
Accountabilities
* Developing the software to be included in the Embedded Training Solution
* Supporting the development and operation of the Engineering Simulator
* Supporting the development and deployment of the GBTS
* Collaborate on feasibility studies
Tasks
* Lead simulation / software development teams of up to 10 members
* Define simulation & software architectures together with the team
* Manage externally subcontracted work packages
* Control and monitor the project schedule
* Regularly report to line management and the program management organization
* Occasional travel to project integration sites or customer installations
* Write documents according to existing company processes
Required Skills
* Hands‑on proven project‑management experience in simulation and/or software projects
* Excellent English (negotiation level)
* PMP certification would be beneficial
* Software development experience in prior assignments
* Experience in Agile software development would be beneficial
* Experience in training simulation would be beneficial
* Experience in the defence industry would be beneficial, ideally in Airbus defence aircraft programs (Sirtap, Eurofighter, M&L, A400M…)
