B Associate Music Publicist, EU Events Festivals /b pb INFAMOUS Public Relations /b /ppem Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid – 3 in-person days/week) or Remote | Half-Time 20hrs pw. /em /p b OVERVIEW /bp INFAMOUS PR is a global communications agency shaping cultural conversations around music, events, nightlife, and brands. We are seeking an b Associate Music Publicist, /b to support PR, media relations, creator campaigns, and creative partnership outreach across our roster of festivals, live events and brand campaigns across EU markets. /p p This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes electronic music and festival culture, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants hands-on experience working across some of the most influential events in Europe, with a particular focus on Spain. You will contribute to overall press strategy, manage media, creator and partnership outreach, coordinate with internal and external artist teams, help run on-site media operations and logistics, and support international visibility for our festival clients. /p p This position reports to Lead Publicist EU. /p b REQUIREMENTS /bb Experience /bulli1-2 years of PR experience within music, entertainment, live events, or culture (agency experience preferred) /lili On-site music event or festival experience /lili Bachelor’s degree. /li /ul b Skills /bulli Exceptional writing abilities for pitches, press releases, strategic notes, and recaps /lili Strong communication skills (verbal + written) /lili Spoken and written Fluency in English, Spanish and preferably 1 other European language (French, German, Italian) /lili Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple timelines and shifting priorities /lili Fluency in AI tools ie ChatGPT /lili Proficiency with Slack, Asana, Mailchimp, and Google Workspace /lili Deep understanding of electronic music, festivals, nightlife, and the dance music media landscape across territories. /lili Awareness of and passionate interest in wider cultural landscape, Fashion, art, design, photography, film, and the places that these disciplines intersect with electronic music. /lili Awareness of and engagement with emerging trends in communication - substack, discord, livestreaming platforms, community radio etc. /lili Willingness to engage in new strategies, experiment and pivot /lili Ability to maintain professionalism around high-profile clients, artists, and partners /lili Knowledge of dance music editorial outlets and regional music publications preferred /li /ul b CAMPAIGN EXECUTION /bulli Pitch and secure media coverage across dance music editorial outlets. /lili Execute detailed research for each campaign, ensuring accurate brand-media fit. /lili Lead artist outreach across festival lineups, coordinating interviews, editorial opportunities, mix series, exclusive playlists and playlist takeovers, multi-artist features, and social content initiatives /lili Pitch and secure pre-promotional driven activity including but not limited to online / social giveaways, event and artist previews, and other creative previews tied to the specific client’s themes and ethos /lili Manage audio recording distribution programs, including approvals and delivery (e.g., Apple Music DJ Mixes) /lili Manage commercial and college radio relations by market, including ticket giveaways, interviews, mixes, and in-studio visits /lili Distribute all hard news announcements—lineup announcements, partner news, and key marketing moments—to relevant press verticals /lili Lead outbound outreach, research, negotiations, and coverage tracking for the Creator Program, with direction and oversight from Senior Publicist and VP of Events /lili Conduct creative partnership outreach to brands, local businesses, hospitality partners, nightlife collectives, and cultural organizations to drive promotional opportunities /lili Support on-site festival press operations, including interview coordination, creator and media hosting, and partnership initiatives /li /ul b ADMINISTRATIVE CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES /bulli Oversee campaign planners, media grids, tracking sheets, and client-ready reporting /lili Manage press lists, approvals/denials, credential allocation, advancing, and all festival press logistics /lili Maintain close media relationships across verticals and stay across shifts in the industry. /lili Draft meeting agendas, take detailed notes on all client calls, and deliver clear action items /lili Maintain shared databases across media, creators, focus markets, and cultural partnerships /lili Handle Mailchimp distribution for announcements, media alert blasts, segmentation, and audience management /lili Track successes and collate reports for all active campaigns. /lili Keep internal workflow documents updated in real time across all active campaigns /lili Support cross-division communication to ensure deliverables and timelines remain aligned /li /ul b CREATOR PROGRAM /bulli Lead all outreach, research, coverage and exchange negotiations, coverage tracking, and deliverable management /lili Identify content creators across lifestyle, nightlife, music, fashion, travel, and other key verticals as determined by client need, as well as key regional markets /lili Work with Lead Publicist and EU events Lead to shape strategic creator approaches and overall campaign structure /lili Ensure creators receive briefs, credentials, timelines, deliverables guidance, and necessary assets /lili Track creator coverage and compile post-campaign reporting /li /ul b CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP OUTREACH /bulli Identify and pitch local businesses, hospitality partners, nightlife collectives, and community organizations for promotional opportunities /lili Build culture-forward partnership concepts including co-branded content, curated experiences, retail tie-ins, product seeding, giveaways, and digital storytelling /lili Develop partnership briefs and assist in negotiating deliverables, coverage expectations, and mutual promotional value with support from VP and Senior Publicist /li /ul b ON-SITE FESTIVAL PRESS SUPPORT /bulli Execute on-the-ground press operations including interviews, creator management, media escorting, and opportunity coordination /lili Facilitate real-time content and social takeovers /lili Represent INFAMOUS as an external-facing lead at festivals and industry events /li /ul b OPERATIONS CULTURE /bulli Contribute ideas in team brainstorms and support creative growth within the EU division /lili Participate in weekly team meetings and cross-division coordination /lili Assist with training and supporting interns within the division /lili Represent INFAMOUS at relevant industry events, shows, festivals, and cultural gatherings /li /ul b COMPENSATION BENEFITS /bulli€20-25k annual salary range (part time / Self employed / autonomo) /li /ul
