Tasks
* Actively contribute to migrating legacy frontend code to a modern architecture based on Web Components using Lit.
* Research and propose solutions for implementing Microfrontends, including evaluating suitable build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Rollup).
* Design and implement reusable, high-performance, accessible, and well-documented components.
* Optimize frontend performance (load times, rendering, asset optimization).
* Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for the frontend.
* Collaborate with the backend team to define interface contracts (APIs).
* Participate in defining and refining technical specifications and UI / UX requirements.
* Manage frontend deployment, familiar with platforms such as AWS S3.
* Conduct critical and constructive code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to architecture and best practices.
* Mentor team members on modern frontend development, Web Components, and architectural patterns.
* Identify and resolve complex technical issues and frontend bugs.
* Work closely with UX / UI designers and stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of frontend development processes, tools, and standards.
Requirements
You will excel in this role if you have :
* At least 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer.
* Hands-on experience designing and implementing Web Components, ideally using Lit.
* Experience migrating legacy frontend code to modern architectures.
* Experience with modern build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Rollup) and evaluating them.
* Proficiency with Git version control and workflows (preferably feature branching).
* Strong experience with automated frontend testing (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, Selenium).
* Knowledge or experience in Microfrontend architectures.
* Experience with frontend deployment (e.g., AWS S3, CloudFront).
* Proven ability to identify, design, and solve complex frontend and performance issues.
* Experience conducting thorough code reviews and providing technical feedback.
* Understanding of UX / UI principles and collaboration with designers.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work remotely.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; French and German are highly valued.
* Based in Spain or willing to relocate soon.
* Experience with other frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
* Knowledge of TypeScript.
* Experience with documentation tools like Storybook.
* Understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG).
* Experience in CI / CD environments.
* Contributions to open-source projects.
