Machine Learning Project Manager (LLM/VLM)

As a leader in quantum software within Europe and having been highlighted as one of the most promising AI companies globally, they’re now expanding and seeking an experienced innovative Machine Learning expert with a strong background in Large Language Models (LLMs). You’ll play a pivotal role in leading an international team to design, collect, and curate high-quality datasets, directly shaping the quality and performance of our advanced language models.
What You’ll Do
* Lead an international engineering team developing cutting‑edge solutions for top‑tier clients.
* Drive technical direction for complex projects, ensuring quality and appropriate technology.
* Identify and mitigate project risks.
* Motivate and guide a diverse team.
* Monitor performance for high‑quality solutions.
* Document and report project status.
* Foster transparent communication with all stakeholders.
* Collaborate across projects with other leaders.
* Understand customer goals and contribute to business solutions.
* Contribute to tech strategy with client and technology insights.
What You’ll Bring
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
* 4+ years hands‑on in software engineering, data science, IT, or relevant engineering.
* 1+ year successful project management leading engineering teams in a technology company.
Technical Acumen
* Strong understanding of AI (ML, NLP, CV, or optimization).
* Proven experience with LLMs and Generative AI (fine‑tuning, pruning, RAG, transfer learning).
* Excellent command of Python, Docker, and Git.
* Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab workflows.
