We are looking for a Safety Director.
Mission
The Safety Director, as leader of the Safety Department, oversees activities to ensure Crisalion's safety management requirements comply with regulations and are properly implemented.
* Establish, implement, and maintain a safety policy for the DOA, defining safety objectives aligned with corporate safety goals.
* Perform hazard identification, risk assessment, and management.
* Monitor and evaluate safety performance and the effectiveness of mitigation actions.
* Provide periodic safety reports to the safety review board.
* Maintain safety management documentation and the Safety Management Manual.
* Ensure safety training is available and meets standards.
* Advise employees on safety matters independently.
* Lead investigations of safety occurrences.
* Coordinate with EASA and AESA on safety issues.
* Develop and update emergency response plans and conduct drills.
* Ensure safe operation of test, demo, or training flights according to regulations.
* Nominate safety action group personnel.
* Prepare flight test safety risk assessments and participate in safety reviews.
* Perform SORA for relevant operations and request operational authorization.
* Monitor safety concerns in the air mobility industry affecting Crisalion’s operations.
Requirements
* Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, with experience in the aeronautical field.
* At least 3 years of experience in Safety Management Systems.
Specific Knowledge
* Knowledge of ICAO Annex 19 and 13, EU safety management requirements including Part 21 and (EU) 2019/947.
* Understanding of aeronautics, aircraft, and systems.
* Familiarity with company procedures and management systems principles, including compliance monitoring, risk management, safety investigations, and fostering a positive safety culture.
