What you'll do
Develop practicable, sustainable actions at shopfloor, compliant to Quality standard requirements, alignment with Production, Engineering
Coordinate PFMEA / Risk Assessment (new & updates) based on deviations, CP moderation, outline risk reduct. steps
Develop practice SQC / SPC
Participate in ADP / MOC projects and support processes requiring Quality involvement
Root‐cause‐analysis, corrective action, project plans to drive change.
Monitoring NCMR actions list
Conduct regular GEMBA walks and work w / floor supervisors, operators to develop a list of continuous improvement initiatives for the plant.
Prioritize initiatives and follow up on actions to ensure completion.
Contribute Quality continuous improvements projects / initiatives at site
Ensure site's compliance to requirements specified in Integrated Management System (standards, procedures and work instructions)
Monitor and communicate changes in Integrated Management System to impacted stakeholders
Coord. localizing glob. procedures, support properly documenting / cascading processes in IMS, responsible for site-level document controls
Timely monitor status and effectiveness of CAPA to prevent overdue actions
Plan and lead site annual internal audit program, certification audit and customer audits
What makes you a good fit
3–5 years of professional experience in Quality area
Experience with automotive standards and norms, especially: IATF 16949 : 2016
Chemical Engineering background
Proactive personality, with initiative and a high level of commitment
Strong communication and influencing skills, comfortable speaking in public
Composure: Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment, especially during audits
Customer orientation: Willingness to represent the company in front of clients when required
Continuous improvement mindset: Commitment to maintaining and enhancing quality standards at the plant
Fluent English and Spanish is a must (communication with local production plant in local language)
Ability to work 100% of time in a production plant (Montornes del Valles)
Preferred experience and knowledge
Previous experience in a Quality department, within the automotive sector
Experience in problem‐solving and continuous improvement
Knowledge of LEAN methodologies, FMEA and Six Sigma
