We are looking for a React JS developer with a solid background in software engineering, Agile methodologies, and operational-ready products ready to join the Football Data Service Platform team.
The Senior Developer understands both worlds - frontend and backend and is an expert on front end technologies (focus on ReactJS) as coding is the focus.
The Football Data Service Platform team is a well-established agile team accountable for delivering high traffic enterprise shared services (and microservices) that are used to ingest, store, transform and expose transformed structured data to empower digital solutions for the benefit of football fans across the world.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
* Designing and implementing custom React components from scratch.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
* Good understanding of microservice architectures, design patterns, and distributed architectures.
* The ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
* Inclination to reduce existing tech debt through refactoring.
* Good understanding of RESTful APIs and how they are consumed by frontend applications.
* Understanding of CI / CD pipelines.
* Good understanding of version control systems like Git.
* Excellent understanding of the architecture of a web application.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to adapt and react to unforeseen circumstances.
* The ability to lead by example by imposing and respecting coding standards to produce high-quality code.
* Excellent communication skills, team player.
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
* Knowledge of football.
* Experience with issue tracking systems (Jira).
* Willingness to work in a distributed environment where other team members are often located anywhere in Europe.
* Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA & Confluence tools.
LANGUAGE :
* Fluent in English - B2 (speaking and writing).

* Full-time Freelance contract.
* Rate: Up to €280 per day + VAT (according to the experience provided).
