We seek candidates for the position of Expert Engineer in Siderurgy (steel mill). The Expert Engineer in Siderurgy is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of steel production processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize steel production processes, including smelting, refining, and casting. Lead and manage projects aimed at improving production efficiency and reducing environmental impact. Provide expert insights on metallurgical processes, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and material properties/heat and material balances. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of steel production. Evaluate and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Mentor junior engineers and provide training on advanced siderurgical techniques. Qualifications and Desired Attributes: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in siderurgy or related fields. Proven experience in developing conceptual studies, basic engineering, or FEED as a leader in this activity. Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, process simulation software, and quality control methodologies. Proficiency in using metallurgical software and tools for process simulation and analysis.
