Come and join a family-owned global company with a long-term vision and a human-centered culture. We are looking for an EMEA Strategic Account Manager to join our EMEA Clinical Operations team. This position reports to the Senior Director Strategic Accounts EMEA and will be based in France or elsewhere in Europe, with travel expected.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of Regional Key Accounts: develop opportunities to increase sales and account profitability by liaising with the national key account managers network, developing opportunities, and animating local Key Account Manager networks.
* Lead and animate operational Strategic Account committees, preparing short, intermediate, and long-term account plans and objectives.
* Drive regular business reviews internally and externally with customers.
* Collaborate with EME clusters' Sales & Marketing teams to develop business strategies for Strategic Accounts across territories.
* Lead global contracts in collaboration with the legal department, ensuring compliance over the years.
* Set forecasts and sales revenue budgets with national Sales Managers.
* Represent bioMérieux to drive relationships and negotiations with Strategic/Regional Key Accounts, acting as the main point of contact and coordinating efforts to ensure sustainable business relationships.
* Drive negotiations at regional levels and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and mid-term collaborations (3-5 years).
* Maintain and strengthen bioMérieux's footprint by validating and assessing Regional Key Account needs.
* Enhance Key Account satisfaction through increased customer knowledge and develop solutions and innovative ideas to create value and achieve sales objectives.
* Build and develop trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors within Key Accounts.
* Map key contacts and decision-makers, and engage internal teams to provide the best customer experience.
Who are you?
* Master's degree or higher in Business Management; a scientific degree is a plus.
* 8 to 10 years of experience selling complex solutions to multiple decision-making groups, preferably in the life science or healthcare industry.
* Successful leadership experience in sales/profit centers with strong negotiation skills.
* Proven international experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
* Tenacity in identifying unmet customer needs and convincing stakeholders of the value of change.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and relationships at multiple organizational levels.
* Engaged team player, self-starter, and hands-on.
* Fluent in English; fluency in German, French, or Spanish is an asset.
