Strategic Marketing Initiatives Lead Commercial Segment

Description -

We are a global Marketing Strategy team within Print Marketing organization, responsible for strategic investment planning and activating global marketing strategies within a 4P context. Our objective is to translate business objectives into marketing goals, plan for maximized impact of marketing, empowering markets’ marketing teams to deliver greater business value by providing strategic guidance. We also play a role in WW plans alignment and marketing contribution assessment into key growth programs with global print category management.

- We drive strategic alignment between category and marketing priorities and facilitate marketing planning within a 4P planning framework
- We define global marketing investment plans, using a portfolio optimization approach
- We set country targets, track progress, and optimize outcomes
- We scale best practices and remove barriers to improve marketing execution
- We enable data-driven performance improvement through closed-loop measurement and reporting performance to WW business

As the WW Marketing Strategic Initiatives Lead for in Commercial Segment, you’ll be the global expert for marketing initiatives covering HP’s print hardware and software solutions portfolio for business customers

You’ll work with HP’s worldwide and local marketing teams, category, data scientists, market-sizing- and customer-insights experts, our product- and sales organizations to contribute to 4P marketing plans that drive growth and enable HP to win share from competition.

- Align goals and targets for focus countries, ensuring clear priorities for strategic initiatives.
- Analyse marketing performance for Strategic Initiatives to guide markets to optimize their plans and execution.
- Drive content for reviews by building and consolidating standardized templates (scorecards, activation overviews, high-/lowlights) to provide transparency into country-level executions and learning for future execution globally.
- Based on this you will be identifying opportunities to lift & shift, address roadblocks and advocate for country investment cases to maximize future outcomes.
- Foster and manage alignment with key stakeholders and continue regular communication with Category to ensure strategic consistency and buy in.
- Enhance marketing effectiveness by driving seamless global and local 4P collaboration, integrating marketing deeply into 4P execution plans.
- Represent print marketing in global 4P commercial initiatives business forums, reporting status of existing programs and contributing to new growth plans.
- You’ll be the go-to-person for global teams to understand progress or initiatives status in markets.

People you’ll work with are based around the globe, across Asian, European and American time zones. You’ll collaborate in virtual environments with occasional face-to-face meetings.

Knowledge and skills

- Diplomacy and ability to influence cross-functionally without authority.
- Ability to distil the complicated to simple and prioritize work of your own and others
- Strong analytical skills, rolling up data, analysing insights and stitching them together to create compelling stories.

- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills – excellent English
- Communicating with ease in front of internal teams or senior leadership.

Education & Experience Required

- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Business & Management. MBA will be an additional advantage.
- At least 8 years’ experience in marketing, with understanding of B2B sales process and customer journey.
- Knowledge of IT goods ecommerce landscape and omnichannel marketing
- Experience with analysing large data sets using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and others to extract key insights that inform your growth strategies and tactics.
- Familiarity with Growth Marketing and experimentation e.g. the Reforge Growth program will be an asset

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
