Purpose of the contract:
Collaboration in the tasks of the indicated research project/agreement.
Location and working hours:
A Coruña. Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tasks to be carried out:
Analysis of data from the LHCb experiment collected in 2024 and 2025, and publication of these analyses in specialized journals. Supervision of data-taking operations of the LHCb experiment during 2026.
PhD specialized in Experimental Particle Physics.

Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in experimental particle physics (2 points)
- Being or having been a member of one of the following LHC experimental collaborations: ATLAS, CMS, LHCb, or ALICE (1 point)
- Being or having been a member of a flavor physics experiment: LHCb, BESIII, or NA62 (1 point)
- Research experience (4 points)
- Academic leadership demonstrated through full convener positions in physics analysis within experimental collaborations (2 points for multiple coordinator roles, 1 point for a single coordinator role)
- Number of publications in first-quartile scientific journals (0.1 points per publication, up to a maximum of 2 points)
- Internationalization: Postdoctoral experience carried out in countries different from that of the candidate’s doctoral host institution (0.5 points per year, up to a maximum of 1 point)
- Fluent communication in English: native speaker, C2 level or equivalent, thesis or publication written in English (1 point); C1 level (0.75 points); B2 level (0.5 points)
Personal Interview
In the case of multiple applications, a personal interview will be conducted with the two highest-ranked candidates, provided they achieve a minimum score of 6 points in the above criteria (2 points).
Based on compliance with the requirements and the evaluation of merits, a prioritized ranking of candidates will be established. The candidate with the highest score will be selected. The remaining candidates who achieve a minimum of 7 points will form a reserve list, which will be used for recruitment in case of resignation, termination, or leave of the selected candidate.
