ROLE SUMMARY
Kensington School, Madrid, a prestigious British international school with over 50 years of excellence is seeking a dynamic and forward-looking Teacher of Mathematics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Mathematics across KS3-5, including IGCSE and IB.
Plan, prepare, and develop high-quality resources and schemes of work.
Monitor and support student progress, assessing and providing feedback to drive attainment.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and curriculum planning.
Serve as a form tutor, supporting students' pastoral needs and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure high-quality outcomes.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
Successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally including IGCSE and IB.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB requirements.
Excellent classroom management and ability to motivate students.
Ability to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment.
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and commitment to pastoral care.
ICT proficiency and willingness to embrace new technologies in learning.
