The IT Integral Category Manager leads the strategic sourcing and category management of Almirall's global IT spend portfolio - covering software, cloud, hardware, telecoms, and IT professional services. This role is responsible for driving value creation, innovation, and risk mitigation across all IT categories, ensuring operational excellence and digital enablement through effective supplier partnerships, robust contract governance, and close collaboration with business and functional leaders across the organisation.
Own and execute a multi-year global IT category strategy across software (SaaS/cloud/on-premise), hardware, infrastructure, telecoms, and IT services.
Lead competitive sourcing events (RFx), complex negotiations, and contract structuring, underpinned by market intelligence, spend analysis, and TCO modelling.
Manage a €40M annual IT spend portfolio, delivering savings targets and broader value contributions including cost avoidance, risk reduction, and innovation.
Build and govern strategic supplier partnerships across systems integration, software, cloud, and life sciences technology platforms, including SRM frameworks, KPI reviews, and continuous improvement.
Proactively manage supplier risk covering financial stability, cybersecurity posture, GDPR compliance, and geopolitical exposure.
Act as the primary IT procurement partner for the CIO, R&D;, and Industrial/Operations leadership, aligning sourcing with the technology roadmap and the needs of scientific and manufacturing environments.
Partner with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and Data Privacy teams to ensure contracts meet regulatory and internal standards.
