Lyra Spain are recruiting a Business Development Manager to expand in the Spanish local market and continue to strengthen and grow established relationships within the market alongside our Account Manager. This person will ideally have experience with local and global clients within the Healthcare Sector.
Key Responsibilities :
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within Spain.
Conducts market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Develops and executes a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base in Spain.
Prepares and presents proposals, negotiates new contracts, and closes deals with prospective clients in Spain.
Responsible for responding and submitting tenders relevant to the Spanish territory.
Manages sales forecasts, ensuring that financial goals are met or exceeded.
Provides regular updates to senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions.
Manages the implementation of the customer program, liaising with all internal departments to facilitate a smooth launch and onboarding, and ensure that all contracting and supplier registration processes are completed before the launch date.
Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to new business development in Spain.
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development.
Proven track record of successfully securing new business opportunities.
Strong understanding of sales processes, contract negotiations, and best practices.
MUST be fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese highly desirable.
Ability to travel moderately within the region.
