Experteer Overview In this role you build and operate platforms that enable product teams to move fast and safely in production. You’ll contribute to a modern cloud-native stack, focusing on developer experience, automation and reliability. You’ll work on Kubernetes-based platforms, service mesh and edge capabilities, collaborating with senior engineers to scale and maintain services. - Build, maintain and operate platform components used by multiple teams
- Improve developer experience via reliable self-service workflows and clear abstractions
- Work with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps across design, implement, test and operate lifecycle
- Participate in evolution of Kubernetes-based platforms (multi-cluster, multi-region)
- Build and operate the service mesh layer (Istio) including multi-cluster capabilities
- Work on edge-related capabilities for scalable request handling and security
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design scalable, reliable, maintainable solutions
- Automate common tasks and standardise patterns to reduce cognitive load
- Take ownership of scoped problems through to production

- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and containerised environments
- Good understanding of Linux, networking and distributed systems basics
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Git-based workflows
