Join Siemens Gamesa as an Intern in our Loads Design & Validation Department in Madrid! Imagine defining and modifying wind turbine models for aeroelastic calculations, performing simulations under various design conditions, and analyzing the loads and dynamics of wind turbines. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. You will define and modify wind turbine models for aeroelastic calculations.
2. Perform simulations in different design conditions using aeroelastic codes like BHawC.
3. Analyze loads and dynamics of wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance.
4. Collaborate with control and component departments to enhance design processes.
5. Support the development and research of new technologies for wind turbine design and validation.
What You Bring
6. You are a recently graduated Engineer in Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or are in the final stages of your Master’s Thesis or PhD.
7. You possess knowledge in aerodynamics, structural design, structural dynamics, or control systems.
8. Additional training in wind energy, such as wind turbine aerodynamics and performance, is a plus.
9. Experience in wind turbine load analysis using programs like GH Bladed, FLEX5, or FAST is advantageous.
10. You are self-motivated, possess strong analytical skills, and are eager to learn and collaborate.
11. You have fluent English proficiency, both spoken and written; Spanish is a plus.
