At DXC Spain, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud team.
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be responsible for implementing and configuring Cloud Technologies. In collaboration with our architects, you’ll code and deploy solutions, and help operate and support these solutions efficiently.
Responsibilities Deliver, maintain, and optimize Cloud Platforms (AWS) and related infrastructure, network, database, and middleware to support Cloud solutions.
Create and review Cloud solution designs, understanding their impact on infrastructure and network, and ensure the availability of supporting infrastructure from internal or external providers.
Monitor, maintain, and support the operational capacity, availability, and performance of Cloud solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective.
Deploy new projects within the existing Cloud infrastructure.
Engage with Public Cloud service providers to forecast and right-size capacity and performance requirements, iterating regularly.
Requirements Over 2 years’ experience in Design, Engineering roles for Systems analysis and infrastructure & network design in web-scale environments.
Experience with Infrastructure & Network automation and configuration management tools.
Knowledge of Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies.
Network knowledge and experience managing large-scale Data Center environments.
Highly adaptable to perform roles across different functions at short notice.
Strong relationship-building, persuasion, and collaboration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts.
Experience with automation and IaaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins), version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), infrastructure testing, security, and test automation.
