Neuraxpharm is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist - Medical Devicesbased in Barcelona
(hybrid role)
Your mission:
The Supply Chain specialist for Medical devices will establish, optimize, and execute supply chain operations for our digital medical devices portfolio in the Central Nervous System (CNS) therapeutic area.
This role is pivotal as it involves building a supply chain framework from scratch within a regulated, innovative business environment, ensuring timely and compliant availability of digital devices to support patient treatment.
Your major accountabilities:
1. Set up and manage the end-to-end supply chain for digital medical devices in the CNS area, including procurement, demand planning, inventory, vendor management, and distribution, adhering to medical device regulations (ISO 13485, EU MDR, FDA).
2. Coordinating the Medical devices S&OP process, the short, medium and long-term planning process, translating demand, into an optimal production schedule for Contract Manufacturing Organizations.
3. Monitor inventory levels at affiliate locations and ensure adherence to inventory targets in close collaboration suppliers.
4. Exception-based management of operational supply issues, such as out-of-stock events, support the prioritization and allocation in supply bottleneck situations and recall scenarios with agility, prioritizing compliance and patient safety
5. Responsible for routine reporting on area KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
6. Continuous process and performance improvement: Systematically review and optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and scalability.
We would like you to have:
7. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Specialist / Logistics with recent experience in medical devices (digital health/connected devices).
8. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a comparable degree.
9. In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485 and EU MDR; strong understanding of quality and audit processes (CAPA, traceability, documentation)
10. Strong sense of time organization and urgency, analytical thinking with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently.
11. Fluent in English.
12. Strong command of SAP Supply Chain Management.
13. Good knowledge in MS Office Suite, PowerBI, basic programming skills in VBA, Python or similar preferred.
14. Analytical Thinking, problem solving, communication and initiative skills.
Ideal Experience:
15. Experience in start-up/greenfield medical device operations
16. Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges. Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time-constrained environment.
