WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are the Digital Factory of the Agricultural Solutions department at BASF, driving the digilization.
We are driving forward the digitalization of agriculture and currently seeking a talented Global PMO in the Portfolio team in Madrid to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. While rooted in the Agricultural Solutions division, this role is embedded within a cross-functional Hub environment. This role ensures that project and programs in the Portfolio team are delivered effectively, aligned with the organizational strategy and executed using best practices in governance, methodology, tools and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* As part of the Portfolio and Governance, you provide insights and guidance to the different members of the IT and Data community enabling them to perform their roles to enable success project outcomes.
* Oversee daily operations, project meetings, KPI's, requiring strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills for effective cross-functional collaboration across Business and IT
* Coordinate with multiple teams (Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Digital Business Platforms, Portfolio and Data) to ensure strategic alignment
* Facilitate and coordinate meetings, statekholder engagement and communication
* Conduct workshops to steer and implement IT and Data Governance and management processes
* Conduct audits that review IT & Data governance and proper data handling on prioritized projects or regions based on business needs, strategy, or a specific requirement.
* Work together with all the other members of the IT & Data Governance and Strategy team to identify opportunities for improvement for handling multiple projects across IT and Data Team.
* Prepare and present updates to sponsors and steering committees
* Monitor project progress, risks, mitigations and dependencies and KPI tracking
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
* Degree in Business Administration, Information management, Data Analytics, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field (e.G., business informatics)
* 3-5 years of project management and governance experience in digital transformation or enterprise IT projects
* High affinity for organizational communication well as excellent presentation skills
* Deep knowledge experience and affinity in asset and portfolio management, data management ecosystems and governance
* Experience in Data Management systems, Project experience, Experience in IT environment, Analysis methods, Project controlling, BASF business processes, Process in business unit, Data Governance, Data Security, Analytical thinking
* Standard applications, SAP R/3 Basics and Overview, Project management software
* Expert Skills in: Presentation, Moderation, Project Management and Negotiation
* Advanced English
