Overview Volotea is seeking a CAMO Engineer
to join our team. You will be at the heart of our operations, helping ensure fleet airworthiness and compliance by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Ensuring Compliance & Airworthiness: Analyze, review, and distribute Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (VSBs), and other OEM documentation to ensure fleet-wide compliance and airworthiness.
Creating & Managing Technical Documentation: Issue engineering orders and bulletins;
administer and distribute technical documentation for aircraft, powerplants, and nacelles;
ensure updates are properly implemented and communicated.
Supporting Engine & APU Maintenance: Work with engines such as CFM56-5B, 131-9A and APS3200 APUs;
oversee maintenance, track engine and APU shop visits, and forecast future needs to maintain optimal performance.
Providing Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with Planning, MCC, and Transitions teams;
troubleshoot, prepare work packages, and support maintenance events.
Driving Reliability & Cost Efficiency: Perform reliability analyses to identify trends and improve operational efficiency while helping reduce costs.
Monitoring Engine Health: Track engine health parameters and alerts to detect issues early and minimize downtime.
Managing Engine Transition: Oversee the entire engine lifecycle from phase-ins to phase-outs;
prepare end-of-lease documentation and ensure smooth transitions between aircraft and powerplants.
Hands-On Maintenance Support: Act as a technical representative during aircraft base maintenance events, ensuring work is carried out according to plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Engineering environment within CAMO;
fleet technical management experience is a plus.
Familiarity with A320 aircraft and experience working with AIRBUS & CFM manuals and data sources.
Fluent English is essential;
Spanish is highlyrecommended.
Solid understanding of EASA regulations.
Experience with AMOS or equivalent maintenance management system.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and service-oriented approach.
Location & Travel Location: Barcelona, Spain. Some travel may be required.
