Are you an experienced Growth UA Manager with expertise in mobile gaming analytics, user acquisition strategy, and data‑driven decision making?
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative game development division focused on creating new IP through rapid prototyping and experimentation. You will play a key role in evaluating early‑stage game concepts, connecting user acquisition performance with in‑game metrics, and guiding both product and marketing decisions to maximise growth potential.
About the role
You will act as the bridge between marketing performance and gameplay experience, analysing data from user acquisition campaigns and in‑game behaviour to determine whether a game can scale successfully. Working closely with product, marketing and distribution teams, you’ll design experiments, identify opportunities, and guide decisions that improve player acquisition, retention and monetisation.
What you’ll do
* Analyse user acquisition performance and in‑game metrics to assess game potential
* Build reporting frameworks that link ad performance with player engagement and retention
* Identify inefficiencies in acquisition funnels and recommend improvements
* Design and run experiments to optimise growth, retention and monetisation
* Guide marketing teams toward profitable acquisition strategies beyond low‑cost traffic
* Monitor and evaluate soft launch and market validation performance
* Collaborate with product, marketing and distribution teams to improve player acquisition and engagement
* Provide clear, data‑driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
What we’re looking for
Experience
* 3+ years of experience in mobile gaming analytics, growth or product roles
* Proven experience supporting soft launches or early‑stage game validation
* Experience working with user acquisition campaigns and performance marketing
Skills
* Strong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets (e.g. BigQuery)
* Proficiency with analytics and visualisation tools such as Firebase, Tableau or Looker Studio
* Experience working with advertising platforms such as Meta and AppLovin
* Strong understanding of MMP tools and attribution (e.g. Singular)
* Ability to analyse and optimise funnels for acquisition, retention and monetisation
* Deep understanding of casual and puzzle game performance benchmarks
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
* Clear communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders
Nice to have
* Experience distinguishing high‑volume vs high‑quality user acquisition strategies
* Understanding of advertising auction dynamics and regional performance differences
* Experience improving distribution strategies across platforms
