What You Will Do
You will serve as the primary technical account manager, focusing on increasing usage of Altair solutions for electronic system design (https://altair.com/electronic-system-design), with an emphasis on high-frequency electromagnetics applications (https://altair.com/feko-applications), within the Aerospace and Defense Industry in the EMEA region.
Performance Areas
* Proactively expand Altair's presence in Electromagnetics and Electronics domains within Aerospace and Defense accounts.
* Conduct technical pre-sales activities, customer demonstrations, benchmarks, support, consulting, and training sessions.
* Analyze customer needs, workflows, and requirements, aligning them with Altair's software portfolio.
* Collaborate with Sales and Technical Account teams to identify and implement strategic growth activities.
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Lead and coordinate account technical activities with subject matter experts and development teams to meet customer needs.
Minimum Qualifications
* Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
* At least 5 years of industry experience in antenna design, RCS, radio/radar coverage, EMC/EMI, or similar fields.
* Deep understanding of electromagnetic concepts, preferably in Aerospace and Defense sectors.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving aptitude.
* Willingness and ability to travel across Europe.
* Willingness to work on military projects.
* Citizenship of an EU country or the UK.
* Fluent English communication skills and proficiency in one additional language (German, French, or Italian), depending on location.
Preferred Experience and Requirements
* Experience and passion for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
* Familiarity with simulation tools like Feko, CST, HFSS, or XFDTD.
