Within Amazon MGM Studios, the International Original Strategy team is seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join as a Sr. Strategy Manager in Mumbai, India. This role will focus on content strategy for Indian Original series and movies on Prime Video, including the facilitation of greenlights. The Sr. Strategy Manager will work closely with senior leaders across creative development, production, business affairs, finance, programming, and marketing, and will have a high degree of visibility within the organization. We are seeking a candidate who has a strong understanding of the movie and television business, proven analytical skills, and an ability to clearly communicate findings to senior management. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving.Key responsibilities Evaluate Indian Original projects being considered for greenlightAssess the financial and strategic considerations of various movie and television opportunities, and release modelsAnalyze Prime Video viewership data to surface insights and inform senior leadership decisionsAuthor content strategy documents providing recommendations on slate planning, quarterly business reviews, content investments, new business models, and 'think big' opportunitiesServe as a knowledge center for Indian Original local and global performance, forecasting methodologies, and performance reportingBasic Qualifications Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasksExperience developing solutions and executing plans on complex projects4+ years of management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or a related industry experienceExperience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data, with the ability to transform data into actionable insightsMultiple years experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similar role within the media and entertainment industryProven analytical skills, including experience using complex modeling to inform key business decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior leadershipExcellent business judgment and an ability to think strategically and help build execution plansExperience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
