We are seeking a skilled Merchandise Planner to join our team. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for developing and executing financial and merchandising strategies for our concessions retail business.
Your primary objective will be to analyze sales data, consumer trends, and market conditions to make informed buying decisions that maximize commercial opportunities.
* Develop and manage financial targets for RTW, FTW, and ACCS across concessions.
* Update and manage monthly OTB, presenting risks and opportunities to senior management.
* Prepare and present reports on the performance of sales, inventory, markdowns, and profit by classification from top-line to store level.
* Make assortment decisions based on thorough analysis of retail business prior to each market to achieve increased sales, profitability, and sell-through percentages.
* Manage allocator to ensure distribution actions that support achievement of financial plans and product strategies.
* Manage promotional and markdown activities in a way to support achievement of sales and inventory plans.
* Deliver weekly Monday trade reports, consolidating sales, margin, and customer data into clear, actionable insights to present in trade.
* Prepare and present findings in monthly business reviews, delivering concise, executive-ready summaries.
* Build and develop a highly motivated and results-driven team.
* Develop robust exit strategies for old stock.
* Build strong and profitable relationships with concession managers.
* Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, including automation and standardization where possible.
* Partner with finance, buying, and concession managers to align reporting outputs with broader business objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of experience in merchandise planning.
* Minimum Bachelor's degree.
* Computer literacy – advanced Excel skills.
* Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is essential to support reporting and collaboration across markets.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement in reporting processes.
* Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment are a must.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to tailor messaging for both detailed operational teams and senior leadership.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive actions from insights.
