We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Finance team in Barakaldo. Reporting to the Management Accountant – Southern Europe, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights and supporting decision-making across the business.
Working closely with management and finance teams across the Group, you will provide high-quality financial reporting and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Finance team in Barakaldo. Reporting to the Management Accountant – Southern Europe, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights and supporting decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare timely, accurate, and complete management accounts, including supporting schedules, KPIs, variance analysis, and insightful commentary
Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for assigned business units
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Provide regular and ad hoc financial analysis, including cost analysis, profitability reviews, and performance tracking
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver clear and actionable financial insights
Contribute to M&A activities and business improvement initiatives, including system implementations and process enhancements
Support continuous improvement of reporting tools, processes, and data accuracy
Undertake other responsibilities as required to support the Finance function
About You
Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or GAAP)
Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data
Advanced Excel skills and strong overall digital proficiency
Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
