At SGS we are embarking on a global ERP transformation program, migrating multiple legacy systems into a unified Oracle-based platform worldwide. As a Senior IT Project Manager you will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and Finance-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, managing cross-functional teams, engaging stakeholders, and guiding organizations through change.
Key Projects May Include:
* Migration from legacy ERPs to Oracle ERP
* Treasury and finance systems replacement
* Credit card platform migration
* Electronic invoicing implementations
* Data cleansing & governance initiatives
* Onboarding new legal entities following acquisitions
* Major infrastructure transitions supporting ERP (e.g., middleware to NGI Azure)
Responsibilities
* Lead full project lifecycle: planning, scope, resourcing, budgeting, risks, and reporting.
* Manage a portfolio of 6–7 projects in areas such as ERP migration, treasury, finance systems, electronic invoicing, data governance, and infrastructure transitions.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and global IT/Finance teams.
* Apply project governance, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and change control.
* Mentor project teams and ensure compliance with IT, security, and governance standards.
* Manage RFP/RFQ processes, vendor selection, and IT partner alignment.
* Deliver executive reporting, dashboards, and project documentation.
* Ensure structured project closure, review, and handover.
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
* 7+ years’ experience managing large IT projects (ERP or Finance systems strongly preferred).
* Expertise in project methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, hybrid models.
* Strong knowledge of SDLC, enterprise systems, cloud, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
* Knowledge of Oracle ERP solutions desirable.
* Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, ServiceNow).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage 6–7 complex projects simultaneously in a global environment.
