Role Overview
Otis is seeking an Installation Mechanic to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by installing a portfolio of elevator and escalator units. The role will involve fitting new elevators with quality and efficiency while adhering to Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Install new elevators with quality and efficiency.
* Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
* Leave overnight as and when required.
* Liaise directly with the customer on site to build a good working relationship.
* Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment and ability to apply elevator engineering principles.
* Licensed to install elevators to the standards set in your country.
* Minimum 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, preferably in assembly or on‑site installation.
* Good electrical and mechanical skills.
* Comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
* Appetite for technical products and new technologies.
