We are looking for a Design Engineer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, capable of working autonomously within multidisciplinary technical environments.
Job Description
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Development and modification of mechanical components and assemblies .
* Creation of 3D models and 2D technical drawings.
* Support to engineering change processes and design improvements.
* Coordination with production, purchasing and project teams.
* Participation in technical reviews with the client.
* Support in stock management and cost control activities, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and budget constraints.
Profile
We are looking for professionals with the following background:
* Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering field, or equivalent technical qualification.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design.
* Professional proficiency in Solid Edge or SolidWorks (mandatory).
* Experience with additional CAD or engineering tools will be valued, such as:
* CATIA
* Siemens NX
* AutoCAD
* Inventor
* PTC Creo
* PLM environments (Teamcenter, Windchill)
* Knowledge of stock management and cost control principles.
* Ability to work in structured and deadline-driven environments.
* English level minimum B2 (written and spoken).
Job Requirements
* The position requires regular travel (2 days per week) to customer facilities (approximately 1.5 hours by car from our office).
* Valid driving licence and own vehicle are mandatory.
* Availability to work in a hybrid technical environment combining office and on-site activities.
