Overview
New positions has arisen as an Aircraft B1, B2, B1/B2 Maintenance Technician localised in Matacán (Salamanca) for LTA (Light Transport Aircraft). Working as part of LMA within Airbus Defence & Space, the role will include the performance and certification of maintenance tasks, including supervision and certification of unlicensed mechanics tasks. This position will require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Responsibilities
* Execution and certification of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of C295 fleets in a Customer Services environment.
* Supervision of licensed and/or unlicensed mechanics, subcontractor or customer personnel.
* Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks individually or as part of a team, perform quality checks, complete documentation in accordance with company and customer procedures.
* Performance of practical training of military personnel, coordinated by a nominated Focal Point and Team Leader in Matacán.
* Part of MRO Network organization.
Skills & Qualifications
* Experience working to high quality standards, understanding of work recording and job traceability.
* Experience reading and understanding detailed technical data and manufacturer maintenance manuals in Spanish/English.
* Sound knowledge of Aircraft Health and Safety procedures and good standard of computer literacy.
* Capable of attaining necessary security clearance (SC) if required. B1/B2 license mandatory.
