Manufacturing/IT Account Executive
DXC is looking for an Account Executive responsible for the commercial and financial performance of clients in the Manufacturing/IT sector.
Business solution-oriented person with strong business controlling skills with a sales touch.
Manages client relationships and acts as a trusted advisor.
Develops a customer-centric agenda (plan).
Develops and leads new business initiatives (grow)
Leverages innovations and digital transformation programmes
Provides pan-enterprise leadership by working across the enterprise and with customers as a unified enterprise account team (lead).
**Responsibilities**:
- Leads, coordinates and manages the long-term consultative relationship with the client CxO to become the client's trusted advisor.
- Presents the company's portfolio for the manufacturing industry.
- Exercises responsibility for growing the company's share of wallet year on year and shareholder returns.
- Meets or exceeds financial commitments.
- Delivers the Account Business Plan (ABP), Account Financial Plan (AFP) and Account Operating Plan (AOP).
- Introduces technological and service delivery innovations.
- Delivers on the company's contractual commitments, technical or process innovations, reduces costs and delights customers.
- Ensures a strong governance framework and cadence of meetings within the business and between the business and customers.
- Manages all employees who provide services to the customer, either directly or indirectly.
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA or equivalent preferred 8-12 years of experience in account leadership roles such as sales, delivery or business management, in the manufacturing/tech area.
- Experience working in a matrix environment.
- Experience in the IT industry is required, and a thorough knowledge of the Manufacturing industry is a must.
- Knowledge of risk management, sales and P&L; is required.
